Update: December 23, 2021:
From Moira Corrigan: Venti, (Unknown) 2008 to December 23, 2021

Anyone who has been around GPI for a while knows Venti.

Venti and Coffee came to GPI on December 13, 2013 from a shelter in British Columbia. Coffee soon found a home, but Venti was more challenging due to her history of biting while at the shelter. Over the years Venti became a kennel icon and developed her own fan club and servants. Venti liked who she liked and anybody she chose not to “like” was well aware of their status. Affectionately known as the Queen, Venti lived life by her own rules and educated her fan club accordingly. On November 26, 2020 Venti made her way to a foster home with Rita, Demi and Scarlet. Thanks to Rita’s love and care, Venti lived a wonderful year with a home of her own. Sadly in recent weeks Venti became increasingly unpredictable and aggressive. We suspect that she had something like a brain tumor affecting her behavior. She would be very sweet one moment, but very dangerous the next. Today we sent Venti to the Rainbow Bridge. In passing, Venti will be helping other dogs through donations to Veterinary Transplant Services.

Run free my Queen. You will be missed and remembered by many.
