Dearly missed by Kathleen Nesse of Woodinville, WA
“My thoughts today don’t come easily. I feel numb and yet and aching deep within my heart. Vaughn fought so hard, right till the end. What a trooper. AT 9AM, he traveled over the Rainbow Bridge to be with all his old racetrack friends. I’ll miss those large stand up straight deer-like ears. I’ll miss his little “butt up in the air” antics to get me to play. He was my first greyhound. I loved him with all my being. Thank you Vaughn for bringing me so much joy. For teaching me the gentleness and politeness that greyhounds bestow upon us. Goodbye, I’ll see you again and may you fly with the wind beneath your feet.” – Kathleen, Willie, Maggie, Manny, Bailey & Hannah
