Dearly missed by Paul Daniello

Hobbes was a magnificent creation who brought joy to everyone he nuzzles up to. Leigh Duvall blessed me with Hobbes in 1999 and he and I shared a life of love. In 2005, Hobbes had a stroke that paralyzed him. I visited him in Massachussetts Veterinary Hospital daily for 10 days and miraculously he improved. When I brought him home I needed to support him with harnesses under his chest and abdomen. Within several weeks he was able to walk for 45-minute jaunts. He died 8 June 2008. how I miss him so! Thank you to GPI and especially Leigh Duvall. …

I shall see beauty
But none to match your living grace.
I shall hear music
But none as sweet as the droning song
With which you loved me.
I shall fill my days
But I shall not, cannot forget.
Sleep soft dear friend…
