Dearly missed by Judy and Bill Wilson

On April 20, 2002, we attended a Greyhound adoption event in Oak Harbor, Washington. When we saw Gilda, it was love at first sight. We went home with her that day and never regretted it. Gilda bonded to Judy immediately and was her best friend for 11 years. We never had to worry about her running away because she stuck to us like glue except when we visited Bill’s cousin’s farm. I believe she really wanted to be a farm dog. She loved the farm and didn’t want to leave but there was no way I would ever give her up. She and the horses would touch noses and knew they had something in common. Gilda was the gentle sweet girl who loved all creatures – cats and rabbits especially, small children and adults. We miss her greatly but know she is in a better place running alongside with her Greyhound family Prima and Carlee who crossed the bridge before her. Run freely sweet girl, we will love you always.
