It is with the heaviest and saddest of hearts we share with you the passing of our Finn. Finnegan was in
the first group of five Flying Irish Greyhounds that arrived from Ireland in 2015.

Before I was even aware Greyhound Pets Inc. existed, I was looking for a companion for Harry, my 15 yr
old jack Russell and after much research, headed to GPI. Harry chose Finn, taught him how to do stairs,
pause at windows and glass patio doors, and to remember Harry was always the boss. After Harry died,
Finn was very lonely, and so I returned to GPI, where Finn met “Opal”, and quickly renamed her Finnoula
(Nula).

Finn was the most affectionate and loving greyhound. His temperament, eagerness to socialize and just
be included wherever there was company and conversation, filled my heart. Strangers, friends and
family constantly commented on the softness of his hair which of course drew people even closer to
him. I would constantly joke I should have named Finn, “Bunny Rabbit”.

Finn was deeply loved by my late mother, and many family members. It was the greatest honour to
share my life with Finn and provide him with the best retirement. Finn and Nula were a team, and Finn
is deeply missed throughout each day.
