Sponsor a Dog

Can't adopt a (another) Greyhound right now? That special bond can still be yours by sponsoring an available dog while they wait for their Forever Home or by sponsoring one of our Forever Fosters to help with the cost of their ongoing care.

For a donation of $10 or more, your name will be included on our website under the write up about your chosen dog while they remain an Available Dog or a Forever Foster.  Your Dog Sponsorship can be a one-time or monthly donation. You may cancel monthly donations at any time.

How Your Dog Sponsorship Helps

The typical costs for caring for our greyhounds and greyhound mixes while they wait for their Forever Home far exceeds adoption donations. While Forever Fosters live with their foster families, GPI supports the cost of their care, including medical and special needs. To make sure your donation does the most good, your Sponsor a Dog donation will be used in combination with other Sponsor a Dog donations to provide for the needs of the dogs in our care.

To Sponsor a Dog or Forever Foster

  1. Choose your dog from among our Available Dogs or Forever Fosters.
  2. Click the "Sponsor a Dog" button below.
  3. In the comments field, enter the name of the dog you wish to sponsor.

If you prefer to make your dog sponsorship donation by check, make your check out to "GPI" or "Greyhound Pets, Inc." and mail it with the name of your preferred dog to: Greyhound Pets, Inc., PO Box 891, Woodinville, WA 98072 USA.
