Dearly missed by Dave and Leslie Skoor and Stryder and Lacey
Heath went to the Rainbow Bridge September 27, 2007 as a result of severe injuries from an animal attack (presumably a Coyote). We are heartbroken that our little quirky obsessive compulsive puppy had to leave us and are missing him greatly and remembering him with tears, smiles and laughter.
Heath came to us a painfully shy boy who would often hide in another room when someone new came into our home to a boy who often greeted a guest, even if it was from a distance at first. He was such a cuddler who often raced to the couch to curl up next to me as I went to sit down, sometimes to Styder’s chagrin as he often beat Stryder to claim a spot next to me.
We will miss his rooing (we nicknamed him Roofus) when he got excited… like in the morning as Dave got up to get ready for work, right before eating, going outside or playing with Daddy. He used to sit on the couch (on his rump) and have his two front paws up on the back of the couch and look out the window or down the hallway. It was our favorite “Heath” pose.
We are feeling a bit shell-shocked right now, as we just lost Dustin in February and have so far lost four of our wonderful Greys in only three years. We love these pups so much and know that with time we will be ready to foster and love again. Right now we just want to say, “Heath, join your brothers, Rico, Patrick and Dustin……. run fast and run free, we love you.”
