Benny
Benny with his new parents, Michaela & Elias with their little dog, Yogi.
A couple came in looking for a new friend for their Jack Russell/Beagle mix named Yogi. We really don’t have many dogs right now that get along with smaller dogs, but there was one boy that we thought we could try out. It wasn’t looking good at first as Yogi didn’t seem thrilled to have a much larger dog around. But with some persistence, training, and a whole lot of treats they’re doing great together now! So Yogi & family have a new packmate – our boy Benny from Ireland! – Mike Forrest
Phantom

Sometimes a home is not complete with only three greyhounds. This family has over the years adopted several of our greyhounds already, and came back recently for another one. This is also another example of a volunteer finding their dog during kennel turnout! This boy had a pretty rough start to life before he was rescued by Team Inch in South Korea and sent over to us last year. Now he gets to pal around with his new mom & dad, two teenage girls, and three other greyhounds. I’d say that Phantom, now known as Carrot, has hit the jackpot! – Mike Forrest
Tank
Tank with new dad & mom, Vadim & Samantha.
A couple came in recently having lost their previous greyhound Atlas last year. They have been doing turnout recently and met a few dogs that they felt might be a good fit for them. So today they came to our open house to get some one-on-one time with a couple of dogs on their list. They made a great connection with one of them, so Australian boy Tank is headed off to new adventures with his new family!
Copper
Copper with Mom Karin and son David.
A woman and her son came in looking for a new companion and walking buddy. They previously had a lurcher, but he passed away in February. We introduced them to several of our greyhounds and mixes who showed their wide range of personalities, but one girl made it clear from the start that she wanted to be their top choice today. So I can’t say we were surprised when they decided to bring home Copper!
