Meet Kaia: July’s Dog of the Month

July 9, 2018

Kaia
Tag No: 6205
Registered Name: None
Breed: Greyhound/Saluki Mix
Date of Birth: Approx April 2015
Color: Fawn
Cat Trainable: No
Dog Friendly: Ok with greyhounds. See Comments
Kid Friendly: See Comments
Location: Woodinville, WA (Kennel)
Larger photo:  Click the link in Kaia's comment area
Comments: Kaia is the sweetest boy. He loves to cuddle and is very affectionate. He loves to play with the squeeky toys and loves his walks. He loves his walks with our volunteers, but also loves to snuggle with his humans. He is gentle, playful and loving. Kaia just wants to be with you. He would love a home with a securely 6 foot fenced yard. Kaia has done fine meeting kids when out and about, but has not lived with them. We think that teenage boys were not kind to Kaia in his past, so a home without teenage boys would be best. Kaia has met dogs when out and about, but has not lived with them. Kaia came to us from the UAE and lived in a foster home as an only dog, so he already knows the ropes about living in a home.

Becky

Tag No: 6124
Registered Name:  Red Apple
Breed: Greyhound
Date of Birth: October 27, 2014
Color: Red
Cat Trainable: No
Dog Friendly: Ok with greyhounds, No small dogs
Kid Friendly: See comments
Location: Woodinville, WA (Kennel)

Comments: Becky is a sweet, friendly girl.  She is affectionate and lovable.  Becky came to us as heartworm positive.  She has completed her treatments and is now available for adoption.  She walks well on leash and is enjoying her new found freedom and walks with our volunteers. Becky can startle easily, so we do not recommend her with young children. Becky is doing very well on her walks with our volunteers. She walks well on leash and is a great car rider. She is a sweet, easy going girl. She will need a home without small dogs or cats.

Best to bring a blanket or lawn chairs for the event.

This event’s goal is to raise funds for these wonderful dogs. Providing them with the medical treatment and other ways we help them with their needs. Transport to us in the Northwest is a big expense. Working together finding them forever homes is a boundless joy. This is an all-breed event.
