Comments: Bailey has the most amazing ears that will either flop over her face, wrap around over the top of her head or end up with one forward and one back. When she shakes her head, she rearranges her ear fashion for the moment. She has the sweetest personality with little prances and major tail wags. She has no separation anxiety and may do well as an only dog although she would probably prefer the company of another Greyhound since she lived with one for many years in her previous home. She loves walks and is very easy on-leash. At one time, she had a toe amputation but it doesn't seem to slow her down at all except for a slight limp at times and not wanting to walk on uneven surfaces such as wood chips and rocks. Bailey knows a number of commands such as sit, lay down, wait, come and let's go but don't say the word "walk" around her unless you're prepared to go. Bailey was our January Dog of the Month.

She has an amazing ability to recognize people with special needs and seeks them out for her special attention. Stacy has no fear of wheelchairs, shopping carts, loud noises and loves to jump on beds to snuggle. While not getting along with cats and small dogs, she gets along well with children. She has not exhibited any signs of separation anxiety in her foster home and is used to using a doggie door to go in and out. Stacy has no problems telling us what she needs. She has learned to sit, go to bed, come when she is called and is very good in the house with people coming and going. Stacy has experienced several changes in her post retirement life and is most eager to move into her her forever home and family as she is now aware of the advantages of family life. Stacy would do well in a home with another larger dog, a work-at-home or stay-at-home family member and older children would also be good. Stacy was our April Dog of the Month.
